The Happy Vanishing

Where Rails Meet Sails by The Happy Vanishing: Assisted by the Tacoma Artists Initiative Program, Chad (programming, synthesizer, acoustic guitar, bass, vocals) has produced and engineered an album fusing folk, electronica, and rock, laced with dreamy brooding atmosphere and featuring themes of melancholy. This album also features guest appearances from some of Tacoma’s finest art-rock talents, including Laura Arellano (vocals), John Walker of John Walker and the Hitchhikers (keyboards), Kizzume of The Mercury Rising (vocals), Kate Monthy of MLK Ballet (backing vocals), and Dave Miner of Free Jazz Tacoma (saxophone). This is the first of three planned projects under the art-rock Happy Vanishing banner. A space rock album is intended for release next year, with a minimalistic indie-rock album to follow shortly after.
