Solar Grey

When an eclipse occurs it forms a type of syzygy – the alignment of three or more objects in the same gravitational system along a straight line. The elliptical life paths of the members of Solar Grey (Kris Carpenter – Drums, Eric Crivello – Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals, Chad Hagedorn – Bass, Backing Vocals, Visuals, Engineering, Brian Lemon – Vocals, Jonathan Tretheway – Lead Guitar) convened in a similar manner. The result of the unlikely Solar Grey syzygy was a self-titled E. P. featuring original rock music with a distinct Tacoma, Wash., working-class sensibility. As with any syzygial event, the moment passed almost as quickly as it started with the Solar Grey band members continuing on their distinct elliptical paths. This page will remain to mark this unique event and serve as a portal to the ongoing and future projects of the Solar Grey band members. The members of Solar Grey have remained friends and are still active in the local music & art scene. Solar Grey wishes everyone a fond farewell with much thanks for their attention and support, and looks forward to continuing to artistically contribute to the Tacoma music & art scene.
